The product has a subpar design and weak weld quality.

Unfortunately, the implementation of this basket falls short despite its great concept. Even though I never carried anything heavier than 100 lbs, the weld on the tongue receptacle peeled off within a year, resembling a tin can. It happened during a long camping trip, forcing me to spend twice the original cost to have it rewelded.

I have been using it for nearly four years.

I've owned this basket for about 4 years and put it through quite a beating, but it has held up fairly well. The main drawback is that it doesn't fit the receiver correctly, resulting in wobbling even with the included plate. Nevertheless, it has endured winter conditions and exposure to salt. I've used it to transport my bike and truck tires, and it has been dragged across rocky ground and hit trees while off-roading. There's a bit of rust starting (not too bad), and I had to bend it back into place after colliding with a tree, but it's still functional. I appreciate the ability to fold the sides up or keep them folded down, as well as the option to fold the rack itself for convenient storage.

It has exceeded my initial expectations.

I successfully used this basket to haul a cooler, chairs, and luggage from Michigan to Tennessee, and it performed admirably. There are a few spots showing slight signs of rust, but I hope it holds up well in the long run.
