Enhance Your Tailgate Experience with the Lift Spring Kit

Unfortunately, I ordered them, but they won't work for me because my latches are located on top of the rails where the spring box would need to be mounted.

As you age, the need for a lighter tailgate becomes more apparent. This product not only serves its purpose effectively but also has an appealing appearance. Additionally, it enhances the strength of the upper trailer rail.

This product not only looks good but also makes the upper trailer rail stronger. In the past, I had to rely on help to lift the tailgate back up after dropping it, but now it only takes two fingers and a thumb. The installation process took about an hour, and I recommend having a sharp 1/2 inch drill bit and two fresh batteries for a 20 amp cordless drill. Since my trailer is made of 2-inch square tubes, I had to drill double holes. As I get older, I always try to find ways to make life easier, and this product has definitely helped. I would buy it again.

I purchased this set to assist me in lifting the heavy steel loading ramp/tailgate on my 7' x 14' side-by-side trailer. As a retired 70-year-old engineer, I thought I could improve on the mounting and cable routing, but I quickly realized that Gorilla's design and instructions are already top-notch. I recommend following the instructions precisely to save time and avoid frustration. If you encounter any difficulties, there are many YouTube videos available for installation guidance. Once installed correctly, the system works perfectly. Now I can easily lift the ramp, and I have the control to stop it at any position while raising or lowering it. I highly recommend this easy lift kit, as long as you follow the included instructions, which are straightforward but essential.
